Because of the Government restrictions we have not been able to rehearse together for 15 months and although zoom has been a great substitute it has not been the same as all being together. After a long wait, we finally had an opportunity to be together and what a couple of magic nights of singing we had!

We all anticipated that, even though we were restricted to 30 choir members at each rehearsal , it would be an emotional occasion when meeting in person for the first time since March 2020. The look of sheer joy and ‘release’ on the faces of the singers will be a sight never to be forgotten. The location alongside a beautiful lake with serene swans for company, coupled with the warmth of the fading sun, added yet further to such a unique, memorable gathering.
